Tera nodded "Please allow me to introduce Captain Sssrath Ssilrari, of the Forest Shadow. He's having some difficulties in retreiving his Wookie crew emember from the authorities. I thought it might be best if we help him." She said it in the tone that indicated she thought it would be a REALLY good idea to help him. "Captain this is Relik, a friend of mine and a skilled negotiator. I'm sure he can help us in this matter"

Relik sighed. It was one of those "why do I bother" sighs. "I would advise against taking such a tone to any random Jedi you see. Some of my compatriots are more easily offended by racists, and dislike of individuals more gifted than yourself." Relik took half a step backwards and made a noise in his mask, indicating that the conversation was over. He moved back to Tera and told her what he had learned, and added, "He already knows we're here. This is a ploy to slow us down enough for the negotiations to go through."

Tera smiled at the Trendoshan. "A pleasure to make your aquaintance, Captain. I'll help you get your friend out of here. It can't be good to have your ship stuck in port when you need to be out making money now can it?" she looked around for her partner, knowing he could ease the way. She hoped after a few moments more in conversation, the Captain would be more amenable to trading his citypass for getting the wookie out.

Ao'la quickly realised that this wasn't leading anywhere. He nodded politely to the guard and left the room, nodding to Tajik as he passed him and indicating that he'd be outside.

Once clear of the crowded waiting room, he moved to the map in the middle of the hallway and examined it to see if there was anything interesting here where they might begin their investigations. Since this hallway had only two doors, and he'd been through one of them already, he proceeded down the right side of the hall and pressed his palm into the receptacle to open the door there.

Ao'la: The guard you were speaking to didn't seem to notice you at first, and that's because he was watching Relik from his position. It was the one next to him who first took notice of you. The guard shook his head and gave you the "one second" finger while he looked on. Then, when he saw you weren't going to give up so easily, the Zabrak with a helmet on shook it's head. It spoke in basic, probably because it didn't know Ryyl. "It's nothing to concern yourself with. One Jedi isn't going to cause a problem here or now." The guard seemed just as disinterested in your comments about the Jedi as he was in you. "We know there is a long line. If you want to file a complaint, you can file with the droid at the help desk. Otherwise I need to ask you to be patient. There is a cantina - two actually, on the otherside of the port."

Relik: The guard looked you up and down again. He focused on your lightsabre. "No. The definition of inefficient is being asked by a Jedi about how to get a pass into the city when you should already know there aren't any more of them being given out until negotiations with the Republic are over. After all, it was one of you who suggested it to the Magistrate." Silently, you realized that the Jedi from the council had already anticipated problems, and have taken measures to ensure that there wouldn't be disruptions

Tera: The Transdoshan smiled, or at least you thought it was a smile. The tall, reptilian alien's mouth opened a little. It licked the side of it's face with it's tongue. It tipped it's head a little in a humanlike gesture of bowing. "Me am Sssrath Ssilrari, caspain of sa Foresst Sshhadow, fasses freighser on sis side of sa galaxy. Is me pleasssure so make ssour acquainsance Sera." The Transdoshan was little hard to understand because it was having trouble pronouncing Ts. But it gave you a quick idea of what was going on. Apparently, his friend, the Wookie in holding, had been unable to control himself after having too much to drink and raged. As it turned out, Srath wasn't trying to get into the city, he was trying to get off the world. Unfortunately, the wookie is the ship's engineer and co-pilot. That meant that Srath Silrari was stuck here on the planet until they decided to release his friend. Srath went on to tell you that there were two cantinas, a swoop bike track, and a Twi'lek run brothel on the other side of port, as well as a medi-bot droid for those that needed it.

Tajik: A quick look around revealed that everyone was more concerned with the long, seemingly endless wait in line and the Jedi (Relik) over by the holding cells. Everyone knew the "Kel Dor" was a Jedi because it had a lightsabre on his side. You were just yet one more face in the crowd.

Relik looked from Tera to the guard. "More importantly, is there anyway we can get in there without a pass?" Relik was a little lacking in the patience department, a fault he had thrown in his face many, many, many, many times by his former Master. Now, the Consular more or less had it under control. Still, Relik found acting was usually the best way to solve a problem. Sitting around and meditating on it rarely made the situation better; that was also his only argument to his master about his impatience. "We're not here on business, but I really have a distaste for inefficient lines, and this is the definition of inefficient, don't you agree?"

Tajik rolled out of his bunk as soon as the nav computer chimed that he had reached his destination. He groaned as he looked at the chrono and realized that he'd laid down less than three hours earlier, but that was the trouble with trying to time one's schedule to interstellar travel. He wasn't even sure what time it was dirtside.

A quick check revealed that it was daytime. He shook his head, rubbed a hand over the stubble that covered his head and stretched as he got up. Still yawning, he went to make sure the autopilot could dock on its own and got ready to disembark.

In black and grey battle armor that had clearly seen heavy use but was also well cared for and with a small arsenal strapped around his body, from a heavy blaster at his hip to a force pike slung across his back and the hilt of a vibroknife sticking conspicuously out of the top of his boot, he looked exactly like what he was- trouble.

He tromped down the landing ramp and made his way to the crowded waiting room. The newcomer surveyed the crowd for a moment, giving the Force users and others a chance to size up the new guy. To those attuned to such things, he radiated recklessness and barely leashed violence- he was strong in the Dark Side.

OOC - Penny, you're too far away to communicate with the guards without approaching them. Also, you failed your listen check, so you have no idea what the Kel dor and the guards said. You're in a crowded, noisy room with a lot of people talking, and if I read the post properly, you were hanging around in the back purposefully trying to avoid being noticed.

You did make your sense motive check, so you can tell the guards don't like the "jedi" with the lightsabre, and that one of them is on his radio...

When Ao'la heard the guards at the door talking about a Jedi on their radios, he broke out of the queue and walked over to them. Speaking in a low voice, so as not to be overheard, he said: "Pardon me gentlemen, but I couldn't help overhearing you mentioning a Jedi on your radios. Surely there isn't a Jedi here on this moon at the moment? Not that I have any grudge against them you see, but they always seem to leave trouble and unrest in their wake, and that can be very bad for business. If there really is a Jedi here I will need to prepare for any potential trouble they cause, so if you could be of any assistance in that matter I would be most appreciative."

"If they can't get more droids on the line, they should staff it with more people. This is ridiculous. Name's Tera by the way, what brings you to this ...." Tera looked around noticing guards were watching her "pleasant diversion of a planet?" Her actual words were going to be considerably less pleasant, but she didn't want to stand out in this crowd. Not with so many law enforcement people standing around. "Hey, is there anything worthwhile seeing that you don't need a pass to see?"

OOC - Penny are you using Force Stealth to hide that your character is Force Sensitive? You can hide being a Jedi pretty easy, by concealing your lightsabre, but hiding the fact you're force sensitive is more difficult.

Tera & Relik - The being in front of Tera was a Transdoshan who was was practically twice her size. It was tall, almost seven feet tall and was solid. It seemed light on it's feet, but was wearing a flight suit. It seemed just as agitated as you were about the line. It nodded twice, somewhat friendly as it looked down at her. "Sswe muss wait in too long of line. Me thinkss they need more droidss."

The guard that looked at Relik was a human. He was in a full suit of battle armor, like everyone else with him. He sort of shrugged, even when he saw your lightsabre. "Yea. Things are all gummed up. You Jedi always gum things up. That Jedi Master that came through as part of that diplomacy group had a nice long chat with the Chief. Now we got a room full of aliens all wanting to get in, except there aren't any more passes being given out until after the leaders join the Republic." The guard didn't seem happy. He pointedly frowned.

Ao'la - Make a Listen Check DC 18 to hear the guards. (Failed Listen Check)

The Guards were, presumably, talking about one of their current detainees, a Wookie who had had too much to drink the night before. He knocked out two guards and broke another one's arm before he was clubbed in the head and knocked out. The conversation seemed to drift towards... The Jedi! Especially as Relik got closer.

OOC - Make a Sense Motive / Sense Deception Check, unknown DC at this time.

Ao'la listened to the general murmur of conversation around him and continued to put on the appearance of a bored traveller just wanting to get this annoying procedure over with so he could go about his business here. He glanced over at the guards by the doors and at the holding cell, to see if he could perhaps catch a few words of conversation to give him an idea about the general situation on this moon.

He glanced at the human female and her companion, noting the lightsaber that hung from the kel dor's belt. He wondered inwardly what was on this moon to attract all these force users here, for nobody but a Jedi or a Sith would dare walk around with a lightsaber displayed so openly. Not unless they were really stupid.

"If our object here is to maintain a low profile while we find our target, making ourselves noticeable is not a good way to locate them." Tera was about to add more but noted that Relik had already moved. With an exasperated sigh, she moved alongside him to wherever it was he had in mind.

Inside his goggles Relik rolled his eyes and made an unsatisified noise behind his rebreather. "We could just cut to the front. Once they realize who we are its not like they'll argue." His voice sounded odd, not quite mechanical, but unnatural through the rebreather. He moved closer to Tera and got her attention. He motioned with his head to follow him and headed for the closest gaurd by the closest door into the rest of the colony. Once in front of him Relik stopped politely short. "Excuse me Sir, my name is Relik Kol and we need to get inside. Perhaps you can let us pass?" Relik made a slight movement to present a slightly smaller frame. He would try being nice, see if that got him anywhere. "And enlighten me as to why the lines are so long? Has something happened?" He turned his head and then looked back at the guard.

The local magistrate's office was packed. Once you got inside you seen that there was four or five benches. All of them were full. There was a line, about four or five deep at the main desk. Two additional desks, including a booth with a droid in it were also full. Guards stood by the door and a dozen or so others were lounging about near the back - the holding cell.

Relik Kol rose from his position and looked around. His breather mask was snug on his face and he took in big breaths of purified helium. His goggles hid his eyes from view, but on the inside he seen as clear as day. Relik was covered in a dark burgundy robe. The robe was open, revealling the portions of his outfit. Boots, another belted robe, and his lightsabre hung from the front, clearly visible for all to see. Relik could never be bothered with hiding the fact that he was Jedi. Being a Jedi he immediately commanded a level of respect not afforded many other individuals in the galaxy. It wasn't bragging, or showing off. For Relik, it was just a quiet way of skipping past the pretenses. Everyone immediately knew he was a capable, and strong willed individual.

Leaving the ship, Relik looked around, and spotting Tera moved closer to her. He approached her quickly, purposefully, and his long slender fingers clasped neatly behind his back. Being a touch taller than most he carried an almost regal bearing, but that was clearly offset by the noisy breather and goggles he wore. He figured, not without some satisfaction, that it gave him a more menacing appearance than what many would expect. Kel Dor, were by nature benevolent individuals. Relik liked to think he was simply more decisive. He listened to what was being said, and moved closer so Tera could see, or sense his presence.

Ao'la got up off of the bed in his quarters when the shuttle had landed, and stretched. This was it, then. He dressed slowly in plain white robes, wrapping his lekku in a black band that snaked itself around each of them before wrapping around his forehead several times. He was quite good looking, if you were into Twi'leks with light blue skin, pale eyes, and none of the cranial bumps that usually characterised males of his species. He picked up his traveling pack and his lightsaber, and after some deliberation slung the pack over his shoulder and stowed the lightsaber in his pocket. There was no need to advertise his presence on this rock to the common rabble. Word would get around and people would get curious, and the last thing he needed was for more meddlers complicating things.

He exited the shuttle and made his way out of the docking station and, after listening to the instructions of an incredibly annoying welcoming droid, made his way towards the Magistrate's office to obtain a pass for entering the city proper. There was someone there already getting a pass, so he put on a bored face and queued up. Just another traveler trying to get the paperwork out of the way so he could go about whatever business he might have on this moon.

Tera walked down towards the entrance from pad 3. Her paperwork was in order and she knew it. Her erstwhile partner had chosen to remain on board to center himself and begin the hunt for the Force user on the planet from the shuttle and to get the last minute instructions from their Master. She walked swaying her hips from side to side. More graceful than any exotic dancer they'd ever seen. The first order of business was getting a pass into the city for them both. They'd need it to move around. Confounded regulations and laws.

She sauntered into the RPPA Office and up to the front desk. "Hello, I'm here for a pass into the city for myself and two others. How do I apply for one?"

Scene 1 - Ishma Port - Page 2 Ishma10

Small shuttles regularly come and go from the small port of Ishma. Ishma sits high in the Skypierce Mountains, a jagged, sharp mountain range that rises high above the jungles below. Up on Ishma, the temperature is cool and dry due to altitude, but rain and sudden lightning storms are common. Ishma is a precious port that is heavily regulated by local forces. Traders and visitors are not uncommon, but they are not numerous. Local Police, the RPPA, or Recona Police Protection Agency also use the small port to host training missions for new recruits and pilots.

Ishma has four port pads, each given a numerical value. Pads one and two are larger, and are for light freighters. Pads three and four are smaller, and are ideal for personal transports and local police fighters. Each of the landing pads is monitored by protocol and service droids overseen by local workers. RPPA Security regularly patrols the area, especially in response to hostility from Recona's natives towards her colonists.

Leaving the landing pads and following the narrow man made path from the landing pads towards the main service area, two guards do cursory checks over paperwork. A droid with the numerical moniker "A-22" offers directions if they're needed. Air gushes over newcomers as they pass through a small tunnel with double doors on each end. Once through the second set of double doors, newcomers are met with a high tech environment covered in the warm glow of genteel, civilized culture.

The giant map on the wall, along with another droid similar to the one named A-22 was also there to offer aid. Immediately to the left and right of the big screen are large, dense fruit trees in full blossom. Beyond them they form a neat row of indoor plants that offer fresh scents and attractive coloring for the eyes. Everything was designed with perfect aesthetics in mind. To the left was the local magistrate's office, where one could file formal complaints, register their ship, order replacement parts, or file for a pass to proceed to the main city of Recona. It was also the local RPPA headquarters.

If one were to go right, they would find themselves moving approximately 100 meters down a long path that grew thick with indoor foilage and clear, but tinted glass windows looking out just over the Jungle's horizon. For those inclined, it truly was a breathtaking image. At the end of the hallway there was a very modern set of double doors that opened by touching a hand (or appropriate appendage) to a plate in the middle.
