As you slinked a little closer the scene unfolded. It was a four lane downtown street. There were rows of shops and storefronts to your immediate left and right as well as across the street. There must have been thirty or forty people in various stages of awe, horror, shock, and fear. There might have even been some people who were curios. It was a disaster.

There was a crushed cabby. A light pole was tipped over and leaning against a building. Another two cars were pressed flush against each other. One of them was missing it's windshield. The driver of the other was plastered against the steering wheel. The car's horn was blaring. Another car was driven right into the front of the building to your immediate left. Somewhere not too far away you heard multiple sirens...

Awesome, indeed. Elizabeta continued on her way thinking perhaps for the time being, remaining a shadow (regardless of how big and creepy) was perhaps going to be her best bet. She wasn't sure if the Were-bitch would be able to pick up her scent or taint but wasn't about to chance it. Currently, Amy wasn't even registering on her mental list of things to worry over. If the girl couldn't take care of herself then she had no right to be what she was. Survival of the fittest and at this point, the smug Lasombra considered herself that. She would continue along in the shadows, scoping out the area she was in. The more lights, the less shadows perhaps but the ones that were there were darker than any other, this she knew.

You made it out of there alive. Whew. Nothing crazy. No big furry werewolf trying to tear you to shreds. No doubt it was because you were a sneaky slick black shadow, of course. That just made you awesome though. Who else around here could piss off a werewolf and then bounce away as a big shadow and snicker about it? While gloating to yourself and fleeing the scene to safety, it did dawn on you that Amy took off in a huff...

...And there still was a werewolf, no doubt an extremely pissed off bull-dyke werewolf looking for something to break. Ahh well. Rounding a corner into the darkest parts of an alley, you could see across the street, through the mouth opening of the alley that there were neon lights a plenty and lots of glowing, glistening, multi-colored fusions of people and noise and energy. It was still early out.

Breaches were for the unskilled and foolish. Elizabeta on the other hand was hardly that and with the stealth of a ninja... well... perhaps not a ninja but that of a well traveled and trained Lasombra, she went about her business slinking from shadow to shadow along walls, stretching and compacting to meld into her surroundings.

Like every mortal exposed to Obtenebration for the first time, the woman began to fidget and panic. She hadn't yet begun to shriek when you moved onto your next place, the black walled base of the black marble bar. You hopped, skittered, and moved not like a crazed bumblebee, but rather a lazy disdain for the rules.

When you slow poke slid you way out the door you weren't ambushed by a barrage of stuff all kinds of werewolf badassery you might have expected. No, no. You were met by a very fat Englishman who was calling one of the bouncers a "Cheeky Fellow" because he wasn't cool enough to get inside. There were more people and a lot of cars. There was a lot more light around here too, meaning it would be easier to spot you if someone or something was looking.

A breach in a new city wouldn't be a good idea.

Oh... how the mighty had fallen.

She just -had- to pick the table with the most filth stuck under it. Elizabeta mentally growled to herself, thinking of how she'd make the flea bitten mongrel bitch pay for forcing her to these levels. She wasn't sure how yet... but when she did figure it out, oooooh all ye beware!

She withdrew from her thoughts then and sensed around the table, a big wad of chewed up bubble yum where her back would be. She shuddered and knew she should have stuck to climbing over the ceilings.

With that she slithers down the leg of the cocktail table and travels from person to person, shadowy spot to shadowy spot until she reaches the door. She slides up the shadows of a woman's leg as she stands in line and up under the woman's cocktail dress. She chuckled to herself feeling especially perverted and wondered if anyone would miss the woman. Just a quick 'fling' in a back alley with several tendrils and her black met form. She chuckled then beneath the woman's dress, oozing over the woman's body beneath the cloth like a second skin.

It took you about ten minutes overall. But there you were, a shadow, stuck plastered against the bottom of a marker, snot, and nasty bubble gum bottom of a cocktail table. Something made you weary. Your hair was still standing up but you'd lost the ogre of a woman. She was nowhere to be seen, not even by your supernatural power of perception.

Retaining her calm, cool exterior under such a realization was indeed difficult and she almost lost it but drew upon some of her inner strength, her willpower and managed to remain rooted to her spot... She was just as frightening in her own right, a thick air of darkness and a promise of violence hovering around her own person at all times for the most part, though right now it hardly seemed to matter to the beast.

She keeps track of the large woman and then she herself slips into the crowd through the dance floor amongst the grinding, sweating, filthy kine. She heads into the ladies room, other women letting her skip in line as she gives them terrible looks that could turn their blood to ice on the spot. Once she's in a stall, she spends some of her precious vitae and her body begins to melt away to pure shadow. From there she sneaks along the floor in the cracks and crevices back out into the dark shadows and low lights of the club.

The big bitch was still all steel and grit. Not being able to get under your skin only made her own blood boil. You noticed several distinctive things about this burly, hulking, behemoth. Then it dawned on you. No, it didn't actually dawn on you. It hit you right in the face. It wasn't a fist, or a sledgehammer or even a gunshot. No, this hit you like a truck, or perhaps like a freight train. It hit you just as the bitch's toothy grin revealed her own thoughts - bad thoughts.

Werewolf. It was hard to hold onto something resembling self-control and courage when you were standing face to face with a werewolf. "You got a smart mouth, bitch. But it's all good. I'll be seeing you as soon you leave..." She tilted her head to the left, snapping her neck with three audible pops, and then slowly backed away. The smirk on her lips told you she was going to play this one smart...leaving you alone, at least as far as supernatural creatures go, in a place with a Werewolf just itching to rip you to shreds.

Elizabeta sighs in an almost bored manner and sips her drink idly as she watches the 'woman' impassively. She tch's a bit, "Señora... please. Acquaintance..." she responds, tone slightly exasperated. She takes another sip of her drink and then comments "West Coast Steel hmm? How interesting... I've barely been here a week and I've been marked. How intriguing. I wonder if my reputation precedes me, and if it does... which one?" She sips her drink again and waves her hand slightly, licking her lips. "Hide? where ever did you come up with that?" She asks with a dark chuckle.

The other 'woman' glared a wicked and unfriendly glare when she realized you went about this in an unimpressed fashion. She tried a different, more obvious approach. "You and your little friend that just left are marked by West Coast Steel. You can't hide in here forever."

Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta Empty Re: Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta

Elizabeta pursed her full lips slightly, the prickling at the back of her neck worsening to a degree. She turns her dark gaze on the 'woman' beside her, though tranny was probably a more accurate assumption... huge biker, I-work-out-at-Gold's-Gym-and-make-Jack Lalanne-look-like-a-pussy sort of huge.

Her double take was slightly more than a blink, the slightly being the additional perking of a dark eyebrow. The wince withheld also as she'd always prided herself on being the one to subtly intimidate, not the one being intimidated and even faced with this bull dyke behemoth she wouldn't let it show.

The Lasombra licks her lips slowly as she gazes up at the other 'woman' and chuckles softly. "Friend is a relative term, Señora. I prefer the term 'acquaintance'. " she says smoothly, that rich Spanish accent rolling off her tongue like water off fine crystal, only enhanced by the enchanting tone it carries. She takes a slow sip of her drink then and turns a bit more to face the other individual fully. "And you are?"

All of that, and the weird vibe you got still didn't go away. In fact, you probably should have ran off with Amy, because standing next to you was perhaps the largest woman you'd ever seen. "Chick" wasn't the word to use, though she looked like her boob job was all bought and paid for. This woman had short, spiked, blond hair, and stood around 6'1 or 6'2". Her arms were as thick as your legs and her legs were as thick as your waist. You had to do a double take, and when you did, she cracked a grin that somewhere deep inside made you want to wince.

"I think you're friend left you... pitty."

Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta Empty Re: Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta

Post by Elizabeta Mon Apr 06, 2009 2:36 pm

At this point the wine had nothing to do with it but Amy's erratic behavior did. So disquieting, how was anyone supposed to be able to properly assess their surroundings with a little tart acting so jumpy right in front of them. Despite the nervous feeling, Elizabeta continued to sip her drink idly, gaze still roaming over her surroundings warily.

At Amy's ghastly display of everything a proper lady and predator shouldn't be, she allows herself a slight cringe and roll of her eyes. She barely steps out of the way as Amy attempts to barrel past her, some of her drink spilling over onto her hand though luckily (for Amy) not onto her dress or shoes. She growls slightly under her breath, withholding curses that if uttered would make her no better than the rabble flipping out near her. She grabs a napkin from a passing waitress and dabs at the spillage on her hand, otherwise known as a party foul or alcohol abuse.

She looks to Amy then and seeing the glare in her direction, her eyes darken and her full lips curve into a derisive smirk. She simply leans a hip on the railing and watches then. If the foolish girl wanted to chase head-long after something that gave off that sort of vibe then 'have at it', the Lasombra thought; the thought being accentuated by a dismissive little movement of the fingers holding the sullied napkin.

Elizabeta sighed then, watching the girl run off after the man. She commented quietly to herself in an almost archaic version of Castilian Spanish, "My, my... If you're going to hunt something don't warn it. Hmm? Silly girl." She chuckled slightly then and ran a hand over her dress, smoothing it over her svelt form. Above all else... she couldn't very well be expected to give chase while wearing Jimmy Choo's and Versace, could she?

Either it was very good at avoiding detection, or else it was the wine and Amy's shuffling that caused enough of a distraction, but whatever had raised the hair on the back of your neck remained out of sight and unidentified. It was bad too, because you were still getting the nervous feeling of being stalked by some big, bad predator.

Amy still had it too. It was then that she whipped around and seemed to recognize somebody. "Hey!" She shouted. "That's him!" She half shrieked, jabbing her finger at a Mexican down below the VIP section staring up at the two of you. She called him out in loud vulgar curses, and almost pushed you over in what you thought was going to be her attempt to dive over the railing. She didn't though. The Mexican had apparently not liked being called out, and as a result, was quickly making his way to the doors. "That's him!" Amy said through hissed teeth. She glared at you before taking off. "Stop him!"

The Spaniard chuckled coolly at Amy's comment. "Only elitist if you don't understand whose place is where, Bonita." She states flatly as she sips her drink. She spoke as though she were remembering how servants used to be though in all honesty for as mysterious and dark as she was, Elizabeta looked barely a day over 20. She looks to Amy and smirks slightly seeing the display. "Better watch it, Bonita. Keep sticking it out and one day you'll lose it." She comments with a cool chuckle, another sip taken followed by another lick of the rim of the glass.

She comments in an almost bored tone, "I suppose I am..." but her words trail off as she too feels the back of her neck prickle. Her lips remain in that smirk though, countenance calm and collected though within her beast snarled and gnashed its teeth, wondering what was making her feel that way. Where Amy's eyes dart about like a scared rabbit's, she takes the predatory approach, perfect nose scenting at the air, perfect eyes trailing their gaze slowly over her surroundings. "Oh my... things seem to be getting interesting, no?" she asks quietly, sipping her drink again with an almost eerie calm about her.

Amy watched you. When you responded to her, making the comment about the cocktail waitress being a mere servant, she crinkled her nose and looked back at the woman. "That's a pretty elitist attitude in'n it?" She snickered and stuck out her tongue. Since you didn't sit down, she stood up, stuffing both of her hands into her baggy-baggy pants.

"Well cool. IF yer fo'real 'bout stayin though, there some people you should prolly talk too. Just then the hair on the back of your neck stood up. The hair on the back of Amy's must've stood up too, because she quit focusing on you and looked around, left-right right-left nervously.

Elizabeta chuckled cooly then and raised a dark brow of her own. "I haven't the faintest idea of what you're talking about, bonita. i just treated her like what she is, a mere servant" She says with a slight motion of her hand and a wicked grin. She moves closer to the table then with slow deliberate steps. The shifting of her body and its muscles cool and controlled, serpentine and sensual. One hand lowers to draw its cool fingertips over the edge of the table in an almost teasing manner as though trailing them over the softer more pleasurable parts of a lover's body.

Her dark gaze settles on Amy again and her full lips curve slowly. "I suppose I'll stay... such a rich city filled with beautiful people. I fit in perfectly... and I cannot say that the warm weather does not suit me." She says, hand reaching out absently to grasp the stem of her new drink that the waitress brings and she absently tells the girl to put it on Amy's tab with a wicked grin to Amy as she takes a slow sip of the drink, licking the rim clean before licking her own lips of a droplet of the sweet drink.

Amy watches you with a raised, pierced eyebrow. She runs a hand through her short, messy blond hair and then watches the cocktail waitress meander off back to her job like nothing happened. "I'm doin' aight I guess. But that was pretty slick shit right there. Ya might wanna think about bein' a lil more careful tho cuz if the wrong person see ya doin' that, it could be yer ass."

Amy smirked just a little. "But then if ya care'd 'bout that ya wouldn'ta dunnit." She leaned forward, elbows on the table, propping her chin up with the back of her hand. "So whassup? You decided ta stick 'round for a lil'bit?"

Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta Empty Re: Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta

Post by Elizabeta Wed Apr 01, 2009 10:21 am

If anyone else had made the expression, it would have been a glare. but for Elizabeta it was a practiced thing that should have been patented centuries ago. Her cold eyes shot daggers but her full lips curved into a wicked, hungry grin and just that dark look was enough to cow the man and cause him to stumble back to his friends, muttering about how she wasn't his type anyhow eventhough fear shone in his eyes.

She laughed to herself cooly then and continued on, still sipping that champagne and though she was cold to the touch and pale, no one in that club realized that she wasn't breathing. Sipping that champagne was enough to draw attention away from the lack of other human mannerisms. Finally reaching the VIP area she gazed about slowly for Amy and hearing the slap and the bastardized version of her name she turned her sights in that direction, with holding a small growl and twtich. Her lips curved somewhat at the corners though the expression was not entirely pleasent.

She moved to Amy then, hips swaying as though a large cat of prey, stalking... "Buenas noches... Amy, was it? You seem... well." She says, voice a smooth rich alto thick with a pleasent spanish accent though her words almost alwasy seem to have an edge to them as though the other person were below her perhaps. She sips her champagne again though by now it's run out. She raises a hand as one of the waitstaff passes and flags them over with a sharp commanding movement. They approach and without once taking her gaze off Amy, she orders another drink and sends them off with a dismissive motion of that hand. She then offers a slight cheshire grin to Amy.

Sure you got checked out, and one asshole, some dude trying too look cool in front of friends - you figured he was some kind of football player or something, with as big as his shoulders were - even hid his poor attempt to slip an obnoxious cat-call whistle in your direction. When you glared at him, he tried to smile, but it faded too, as soon as he realized you were cooler then him.

As you made your way to the VIP with champagne in your hand, you easily spotted the blond Brujah Amy, who was known as the center of attention wherever she went. Almost a little surprised to see you, Amy quickly waved off her "friends" and then slapped the table in front of her, motioning you over. "Hey Liz! Over here!" You heard her shout, easily over the oontz oontz bass thump.

There she stood, in line surrounded by braying sheep. She sniffed slightly, chin tilted upwards haughtily. The fact that she even had to wait in line was an indignity though once it was her turn she didn't have to do a thing. The bouncers letting her past as they checked out her svelt body. A smirk was cast to both, dark eyes watching them more like food than individuals.

Once inside the glanced about, taking in her surroundings as she snagged a glass of champagne off of a passing waitress' tray deftly, the woman probably not even noticing the smooth move. As she moves, men and women move out of her path, either because she was just that beautiful or because the prey picked up the vibe of a dangerous predator around them.

She sips her champagne, slightly amused as she begins to play 'eeny meenie miney moe' in her head, wondering which kine could be her potential snack. It was then she moved to the VIP area, sure that the woman would be there by now...

Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta Empty Your new home in L.A. - Elizabeta

Post by Jedi_Master_007 Tue Mar 31, 2009 6:00 pm

You were Elizabeta. You were a Lasombra with, as best as you could figure, a traditional Lasombra upbringing. Traveling to L.A. was easy enough, at least, easy enough for a vampire. You had hoped things would move slow enough for you to stay in the shadows until you had a lay of the land. However, as everyone knows, things don't work out like that in this crazy ass world of darkness. Your first contact came on your second night in town. It was your feeding habits that got you caught too, because it was while you were sneaking into a morgue that another kindred approached you.

After a brief moment of apprehension, the blond haired, fiery kindred dressed in cargo pants and a brown tank top introduced herself as Amy...and she wondered why a kindred who looked like you was snooping around in the morgue looking for something. It was after another few minutes and about a half hour worth of suspicious behavior on both parts that you two finally got on enough to agree to meet again.

And so now here you were, waiting in line, like duh, trying to get into a hot spot... one of L.A.'s generic clubs you didn't get into unless you were really hot, knew somebody, and hot lots and lots of dough. Amy told you she'd be in the VIP section around midnight. Well fuck all, because it was 10 til, and you were still outside.
