Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Don't look at me. Only thing I changed recently besides the dice roller was the hotlink in the announcement line at the top.
Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Weird. This site was giving me a redirect earlier. Huh.

Alright everyone. Just learned an important lesson the hard way. X(
Everyone needs to register again. I fucked up big time and in a manner that I can't get access to my back ups of the site. Sooo..... gotta reinstall, which is in essence making an entirely new board. Ugh.
EDIT:
I managed to yank the memberlist files.... if all goes well you guys wont have to register again, but we'll see

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
working link TO THE NEW SITE For some reason I'm having a hard time getting the "phpBB3" off the end of that... but give me a little time and it'll work without it. Everyone is encouraged to migrate over, and Storyteller's youre welcome to bring your games with you, just be aware the site is not fully functional as of yet.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
So...
Here's whats up:
http://wdgames.net is going to be our new home in the coming weeks/days.
Just tonight I registered the site and purchased the hosting requirements.
Claymore, Jedi, and myself will be working to move everything over (STs, we'll get with you as needed with when you need to move your games over), but for now all everyone has to do is nothing. We're staying here until we get the everything set correctly.
What needs to be done?
Well, we have to get the code for the forum up.
We have to add dice rollers, and character sheet generators.
We have to set up email addresses and access to many things.
We have to configure the gallery, which, by the way, is going to have about 50GB (probably more) of space for us to play with.
What do you guys get for going through the hassle of re-registering, and starting over on a new site?
Email addresses first off, probably 10MB of space for regular players and STs will get more... but gotta see how thats going to set up.
Gallery size limits are increased exponentially.
And much, much, much more....

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Morning all, my husband was nice enough to guide me to this site. The person that wrote all these stories openly admits to being an "asshole", sound like anyone we might know here? Once you read a few of them I think you will agree with me :O) Anyway, I thought I would share it with everyone here... enjoy.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Congrats on the new place. Nothing feels as good as getting your very own house key. I miss those days but congrats nonetheless. BTW Have you come to a deciding factor as to what you are going to do with Braddock?

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Well, I am doing this moving thing today. It's all going into my own place though, so that will be a big nice thing. It might / could / probably will take me a few days to get the internet completely squared away. On the flip side however, there is a library literally 2 doors down from me. I just have other bills to pay first.

Well, once I get moved, It may be a few days before I get internet turned on. During that period, I'll have nothing but time to work on games and game related stuff.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
I'm good either way but my only concern is whether or not I would have to make a new character. I honestly don't think I have it in me to make a new one right now, and pre gen's are alright but it isn't the same. (if that makes sense to you) As for DnD .... like I have mentioned before, I have not played that in over 15 years. Alot has changed and even with a pre gen it still looks all foreign to me. So yeah, I'm good with either Braddock or TBLA.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Given the choice between TBLA and Braddock, I'd prefer Braddock. To your credit, one of the reasons for this is nostalgia . You know I'm not too interested in D&D or Fallout, so if you run with those instead... have fun. It'd give me more time to script things for them anyway.
General announcement all, this is actually getting a little irritating. Although I do it mostly because I enjoy it, I've spent an absurd number of hours working on new features for this site, two of which work beautifully now. And my request for a few seconds worth of feedback was met with about a week of silence. I've set up two polls in the New Feature's forum. Please at least respond to this one.

I've got too many projects in mind to do them all at once, and need to know what ones would get the most use.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
I'm still enjoying TBLA, but I think it's just as important for the GM to be enjoying himself as the players, so if you'd like to give it a rest then that's cool. I'd certainly be interested in a Braddock, D&D or Fallout game.
And at the moment I've gotten myself addicted to the challenge rooms in Batman: Arkham Asylum

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
Well, speaking from my own selfish viewpoint, I really hope you don't abandon TBLA because I just did all that work putting the Necromancy stuff in there. Also, I really want to see what happens next. That said, do whatever you need to do to avoid burnout.
BTW, Armory Reloaded is up on Adrive now.
Also, and this is to Claymore, I was unable to add Melissa as a character though the computer seemed to indicate that she'd been added.

Re: GENERAL CHAT THREAD
So begins my new work week. I am hearing back about an apt tonight. And I know I'll be ready to post something else. I'm toying with a lot of ideas regarding the game.
Part of me wants to re-open Braddock by Night. Part of me wants to host a V:tM game on a different server with a wider group of players. Part of me wants to abandon vampire for a while and move onto the DnD game or the Fallout game, both of whom I've been toying with on the back burner.
...
And I still want to get a WoW account. Lately I've been messing around with the Sims 2.
I dunno... What does everyone think?

Claymore wrote:Stop deleting your character after the image fails, I need to see what data is being saved. :P
And it's possible the source is the problem, if it's something you have to be logged in to see. That's easy enough to test. Post the link for the image here and we'll see.
I'm not deleting it. Or at least I'm not deliberately deleting it.
