This post is for key locations that are important to the Anarch kindred of L.A. You may or may not know some of these locations so it is best to ask for Storyteller approval before using them. If you are not an Anarch vampire in this game the use of and knowledge of these locations is strictly out of character. You will need to do the footwork necessary before even using any of this information. Sorry. Twisted Evil -ST Jedi Master

Bay Underground Dragway: The BUD drag strip is owned by TEAM Nos and where they get a good portion of their resources. It is open to the public and features covered pits and bleachers as well as a full watch tower where all the time keeping is done, and VIP seats are maintained. Due to the stable LA weather BUD is opened year round, and hosts an invitation only event once a year, also open to the public that is featured on ESPN and the Speed Channel.

Berkley & Jones Pawn Shop: Run by the tubby Berkley and the venerable Jones, the Berkley & Jones Pawn Shop over on the East Side sits on a corner next to a gas station, liquor store, comic shop, and 24 - hour diner. Unlike most pawn shops, BJ's stays open until odd hours and is known to have a good supply of guns, ammunition, knives, and jewelry. On Fridays at midnight, kindred who can afford a 500 dollar buy in are welcome to join a poker game in the back room.

Earl Industrial HQ: The Earl Industrial HQ is a warehouse by the docks that was bought sometime in the 70s by LeRoy Earl. It is now home to the bi-weekly Rant and Rave held by Kingpin Earl. The warehouse is dark and grungy stacked with empty crates, tires, barrels and other odd, useless items. The second floor is made up in 70s style shag rugs and wood panel walls. It's designed like a lounge with three office buildings, and is open to the general kindred public if they can show proper ID to the security.

The Hideout: The Hideout is a little church on the south side that had been burned and then abandoned in 1983. During the mid 90s, it became a crackhouse, but after being raided more then a dozen times by the DEA, it soon lost that role too. Now it's a small pool hall popularized by gang bangers and bikers. It's occasionally used by kindred as meeting ground or as a host for Fight Club.

Lucky's Games & Grill: Lucky's is a pretty popular place up in the middle of the Valley where a lot of the younger crowd can hang out without attracting too much attention to themselves. In addition to being a decent sized sports bar, Lucky's is also one of the largest arcades in LA - quarters only please.

The Penthouse: The Penthouse is a strange place that seems to not exist on any records, but that's because it's the secret Tremere stronghold, known only to LA's Thaumaturgic masters.

The Pit: The Pit is special in that it's a literal pit dug in the ground. It's by an old train graveyard, and is about 15' by 20' and about 12 feet deep. It's plain, doesn't draw attention, and is out in the middle of nowhere, just like the participants of Fight Club need it to be.

Zodiac Underground: The Zodiac Underground is a perpetual party for those who know of it's secret location. The Underground is a two floored, square club whose only access is through a series of sewer tunnels that lead to one of three locations on the docks. The Underground is a members only club available to ghouls, kindred, mages, and werewolves capable of behaving themselves. Mortals (including ghouls) must be vouched for by a member of the club, and any misgivings must be dealt with or handled by the vocher. The Zodiac is also important, and not because it's a cross between an industrial-punk and goth-raver club for the supernatural, either. The Zodiac is also the host for the X games.

Locations & Events Empty Re: Locations & Events

Similar to the Important Locations post, this post is for key events that are important to the Anarch kindred of L.A. You may or may not know some of these events so it is best to ask for Storyteller approval before using them. If you are not an Anarch vampire in this game the use of and knowledge of these events is strictly out of character. You will need to do the footwork necessary before even using any of this information. Sorry. -ST Jedi Master

Team NOS All Nighter Once a year, not always on the same night, Team NOS gets the entire coterie together and they ride around LA's freeways, or cruise the club scene. Normally, this wouldn't be a bad idea, however they break up the long drives by racing each other, performing drive-by shootings (with Ken at the wheel and Chris riding shotgun). Not to mention pausing to smear illegal street racing competition...

The Dance: The Dance is similar to Fight Club (see below) but is different in several ways. The Dance is an annual fight between the kindred in LA designed as a way to release stress and tension. It is surprisingly effective. The Dance event traditionally occurs on a national holiday though St. Patrick's day is also a favorite. Dancers throw their name in a hat and fight when their name is pulled. The "Dancer" may randomly pull their dance partner if they want, but most of the time they already have their partner in mind. Dancers may keep dancing as long as their name remains in the hat.

Recruitment Drive: As needed, TEAM Nos will formally hold a recruitment drive. In order for a wannabe to become a member they have to meet several qualifications; First, they have to be a vampire. Second, they have participate in a sprint from one location of the city to another (the course is never disclosed until the night of the race), and you have to either hang with Ken and Chris, or beat them. Officially "hanging" is defined by Ken and Chris. An offering of good ganja before the race usually helps...

Tag: Tag works like hide and seek from our youth with the exception of guns, and the "it" team is armed with guns and sent out to find the others and "tag" them, but shooting them. Once this happens the tagged team takes the place as the "it" team. After a set period of time the team still standing, or with the most "tags" under their belts is the winner. Team Nos' Ken and Chris are the current champions, and have been for some time.

Hollywood Stars: This is more of an annual scavenger hunt held on New Year's Eve where the goal is to appear in public with a Hollywood celebrity. The kindred who has the best "date" is then awarded rights to feed on the celebrity in question. Occasionally the kindred turns the Celebrity into a ghoul. The rules change from year to year. While actors and models are the most common candidates, famous musicians and professional athletes are also acceptable.

Fight Club: Fight Club existed before the movie of the same name, and there is much speculation as to how the name was leaked, though many vampires admit it was probably a coincidence... The first ever Club was founded by Ezekiel Rothstein in Philadelphia and originally served as a means for angst filled Brujah to vent their frustrations. After a few years gambling was added and a mortal circuit. The phenomenon was adopted across the country and the local founders made huge profits off of the gambling. In LA, Fight Club is a source of honor, and money for those so violently inclined. The Masquerade is strictly enforced as Fight Club is open to the public at large.

Paintball / Nines: Not too dissimilar from Tag, Paintball or Nines, as Anarchs from other cities sometimes call it is a free for all shoot'em up. Headshots are generally illegal, as are automatic weapons or high powered rifles, though occasionally the rules are modified to limit the size and type of ammunition due to the huge variety of ammunition out there. The "winner" of a game of Paintball is the one who gets the most "kills" in a certain time limit, usually 15 or 20 minutes. Given a kindred's nature to heal damage, games are either done "Hardcore" style, where if you get hit, you're out of the game, or they're done with "Respawns" in which the kindred is allowed to heal the damage and then come back into the game. This game is frowned upon by some members of the kindred society due to the strain it puts on the Masquerade.

The Rant & Rave: The Rant and Rave is essentially a regular Elysium meeting where all the kindred in the city can interact with each other, make deals, and do what other kindred in other cities do at Elysium. However, in this particular case, Status isn't such a priority, but Reputation from your peers is. The location is always the same, at the Earl Industrial HQ, and often the Masquerade is relaxed, but still in effect. Violence is strictly prohibited, and showing up hungry or looking like a slob is considered extremely bad form.

Triple X Games: The Triple X Games are combined into a monthly event that would probably be outlawed in other cities and locations, but in LA, where the Triple X coterie has some status, they've become something of an urban legend. Held in the underground club Zodiac, the Triple X games are essentially blood and sex orgies where kindred share their herds and their own blood with each other, along with any combination of drugs and alcohol. The X Games are considered invitational only, which probably adds to rumors surrounding them, but also helps to protect the Masquerade and the herd of mortals that appear. For those who participate, the X Games are fun, invigorating, and an awesome way to both vent and relax
