Re: Feeding the Hungry Vampire - Natty & Ekat
Natalya was in good humour throughout the discussions and the more Vic was drinking the more pliant he would be for when she was hungry. She subtly encouraged his drinking before leaning in closer across his chest to listen to his heartbeat. The solid thump thump encouraged her. She could see that she could take a good long drink from Vic to be satisfied.
"Well, my magazine as a fashion/celebrity gossip magazine. Whether you wish your ambitions in the art world to be known is up to you, however, I was thinking of you and Linda perhaps posing in several tasteful outfits, along with an 'inside the head of Vic' interview. I'd prefer it if you were real, but I'd run it even in your wrestler persona. Most of my readership is female, so the story could easily be about Linda's introduction to the ring." Natalya shrugged "Could be good exposure for you both"
Natalya watched Vic with a pleasant smile.
"We could even do follow ups. After your big event in Vegas, after Linda's first match......but it's up to you."

Re: Feeding the Hungry Vampire - Natty & Ekat
Linda clarified that she worked in the ring, but that she didn't have an incredibly artistic side. Her mother was a military woman, who ended up marrying a German police investigator. The two eventually opened a small cafe in Chelsea, where they are today. She was a tomboy if ever there was one. She happily added that she's always been a bit rough on the boys. Vic added that she had a temper preventing her from working in customer service too.
After getting his drinks, Vic handed the one he got for Linda to her, and then drained half of his tumbler on the spot. He let the brisk gin linger for a second and then motioned towards Ekat. "What's the matter? You look like you're feeling out of place? Camera shy?"
With his attention back on Natalya, Vic told her that he'd be defending his championship in Vegas in three weeks, and that his next appearance was next Saturday. When it came to talking for your magazine, he looked at you thoughtfully. "I'm not sure. I'd like too, but I need to go over it with my agent first. What sort of interview would you like me to give?" He drained the last half of his tumbler, set it down, waved off the bartender's motion to get him another, and kept his attention on you.

Re: Feeding the Hungry Vampire - Natty & Ekat
Ekaterina thought it a bit odd that a wrestler should be collecting Van Gogh and Da Vinci originals, and wondered privately where this man would get that kind of money, because despite being paid a great deal of money for being essentially a second-rate stuntman, a Van Gogh original should cost way more than they had.
She also felt slightly out of place in company like this. She was wearing a long, dark blue, embroidered skirt with a matching corset, the sort of thing a 20-something wicca enthusiast might wear, except that it suited her somehow. It was obvious that she wasn't trying to project any particular image, and that this was just how she dressed. However, in the company of all these people wearing cocktail dresses and tailored suits she stuck out like a sore thumb and she wasn't sure she liked that.
She engaged the charming English lady in conversation again, remarking that she never would have thought her a wrestler from looking at her, and inquiring if she too enjoyed art. Ekaterina herself was a fan of Rembrandt, his two anatomy lesson paintings in particular, and asked if Linda was familiar with his works.

Natalya sidled up between Vic and Linda. Once he'd opened up about the painting and given up his faux crass exterior, she found his company to be very pleasant indeed. She refused a drink for herself citing that she'd already had quite enough to drink. He was presentable as well, in an Armani suit that he seemed to be comfortable in. All good plusses for Natalya. She kept him entertained, continuing the discussion on art with him, switching the subject to something more entertaining when he started losing interest. After he'd let his guard down she started asking the more relevant questions. She could not take from him if he was due to go duel, fight or whatever it was they called a contest between wrestlers.
"So Vic, when is your next big fight?" she continued asking questions, some relevant, some not, some outrageous questions and others very mundane. "Do you mind doing an interview for my magazine? Might be good for both of us?"

Feeding the Hungry Vampire - Natty & Ekat
Veronica had expressed interest, and took your phone number, but she wasn't really sure yet. There were a lot of things she would need to go over, including her current situation with the Millionaire's Club. She did agree to work with Tera in regards to handling the financial situation here. Before leaving with Veronica, Tera revealed she'd bitten Holly, the tall brunette who was taller then you with her heels on.
Your cocktail directed everyone together at the bar. Neatly dressed in a custom tailored black Armani with a loose fitting open collar shirt, Vic was much larger up close. He stood somewhere around 6'3" or 6'4" and was broad shouldered with a defined muscle tone and rugged good looks. Vic wasn't handsome. However, unlike many body builders or chiseled men, Vic's physique helped his appearance instead of hurt it. He had long brown hair that had a natural curl to it, but the hair was currently put up into a single surfer style ponytail.
Of the two women already with him, Holly was the taller of the two. Easily Natalya's height, Holly was a good three or four inches taller, with the heels she was wearing. Holly was dressed to have fun, and it showed in her choice of attire. She was wearing a slinky black dress that was cut just below her knee on the left and just above it on the right. She had on light perfume, and looked good all dolled up. The other woman, the Brit, Linda, was from Chelsea, England. She had a thick accent, and dark, but livid eyes. She didn't ooze sex appeal, and that was what made her sexy. She had been dressed very professionally with tasteful jewelry, and a well tailored coat.
Introductions were politely made, between the five of you. Vic had inquired about Tera and Veronica, mentioning that they'd all been introduced earlier. After a sensible explanation, you soon found out that he was more interested in both of you then either of them. Vic had taken to Natalya like a fat kid on cake. The Ukrainian accent and dark looks played easily to her advantage, and soon she had him talking about whatever. It was first, briefly, on who he was and how he got in here. He was a wrestler - a televised entertainer. He was currently the heavyweight champion, and that his character was an arrogant socialite who used money and brains to back up an equal mix of martial arts, technical wrestling, and good old fashion brawling. That was pretty much where he left the conversation though. Vic didn't seem to like talking about it or he was smart enough to know it wasn't the best conversation piece.
Ekat and Linda had an awkward few minutes talking, until they both got into each other's accents. As it turned out, Linda was actually born in Germany. She had lived there until she was twelve. Linda was also a wrestler in what she described as a technically superior generation of new female superstars. She was found by Vic in a gym while he was traveling through the U.K. and was impressed with her kickboxing skills. When he came looking for female talent to add to his wrestling promotion, she was one of the first people he'd hired. Then Linda let something slip. It was something definitely a conversation piece.
Vic did reveal that he was actually in town on business. There was a secret bid for an original Van Gogh. Vic didn't seem to like having to reveal that information, but once it was out, he did talk about it. He had a thing for expensive artwork, especially paintings. Pollack, Van Gogh, and Di Vinci were his very favorites. Somewhere in Natalya's memory, that information got placed in a nice neat folder to be filed away. It was also cross referenced with an article she had skimmed over before being published in her magazine...
Holly brought everyon'e attention back to her, when she said she was feeling a little light headed and was going to get some food. Neither Vic nor Linda were hungry at the moment, but Vic's tumbler was empty and so he ordered another drink. He offered to buy one for anyone else that wanted something. He got himself another double of Bombay Sapphire. Linda had an extra dirty Martini with a slice of lime on the side.
