Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
I'm going to give Penny a chance to post. Depending on where he goes and what's up, his character could be doing something cool.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Presumably Tajik and Ao'la would know each other, no? If he's a more physically minded guy and Ao'la is more about Force powers and non-violent action (if it can be helped) it would seem like a smart move to put them together so they can complement each other.

Ac1d: Homie, you need to finish your sheet. I also need to see everyone using my Template for the sheets. Everything is super easy for me to find there.

Penny please refer to my previous post. There is no need for an explanation. It's cool.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
You'll be with Serpentis and Penny's character. You two can feel free to communicate with each other to figure out what your general plan is, how well you know each other, etc etc etc.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Ah, screw it. The name and personality will be the same, regardless of whether he's a Marauder or Assassin, so I'll start posting IC now.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Generally speaking, no. Here's why. To qualify for a Prestige Class you have to actually be prestigious to qualify for a prestige class.
I mean, you might be able to scrape by and do it, but I don't normally allow prestige classes until around level 15.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Jedi, any chance you'd allow the Jedi Watchman/Sith Assassin prestige classes Wizards wrote up on their website a while back? That would be perfect to fill our lack of a rogue-type PC.
Here's the article: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=starwars/article/sw20050428kotor
To get there I'd do a Scoundrel/Jedi Consular, then add the Watchman or Assassin PrC.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
She'd didn't have lightsaber skills. She carried a blaster. She used force powers to amp her physical stats and unarmed combat damage. She used Battlemind a lot, I think, but I'd need to look at my books to get the name right.
If I remember correctly she was a soldier/force adept multiclass. No lightsaber.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
To be an even smarter ass, how would a force adept learn lightsabre skills, much less how to construct one without being exposed to the Jedi or the Sith?

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Just to be a smartass, is this the most recent Saga rules or the older revised d20 rules?
I had a character I used in an old SW game that was a force adept but built around a martial arts theme, saying her world was in the unmapped territories and didn't know about Jedi. Something like that sound okay? She'd be a lightsider but not Jedi and not averse to getting temp dark side points if necessary.
Funny, I was thinking about trying to revive that old game here. Thanks for beating me to the SW punch.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
I think with Cat being a Jedi Guardian, and with Penny being a Consular, the group might as well consist of Force Users.

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
I'm interested in playing a Jedi who starts out on the light side, working for the Jedi Council, but falls to the dark side. He should obviously break with the council fairly early to fit in with the other PCs.
My idea for a premise was that he is a spy or diplomat sent to see whats up with this moon. He feels that this sort of assignment is way below a Jedi of his capabilities, and suspects that the Council just wants him out of the way for something.
Another possibility might be that some tragic accident occurs there that perhaps kills his wife or girlfriend and he irrationally blames the council and so falls to the dark side.
Other details I've decided on so far are
race: twi'lek
class: jedi councilor

Re: CHARACTER DISCUSSION
Beyond darksider I haven't really decided. Obviously Ill make something that can / will work with everyone in the party so thats not an issue with me. Any one else have any ideas for a concept they want?
I kind of like the idea of being the talking head this time around, but I'm just as cool with being a weapon wielding combat monkey.

CHARACTER DISCUSSION
So this is where everyone is discussing their characters. For those of you who played in my KOTOR III game, this will sort of use some of the same story as that, but this is... two or three hundred years after KotoR but not during anything specific. This way I can play with the worlds and stuff however I want. Cool?
I am making this a Darkside game because I know at least one or two of you is looking to play Darkside Force users. Ok. However, I will not let you play if you cannot work together in a teamwork style game. I have played and GMed many Star Wars games in the past and I really like the series. I have yet to experience a bad game and I will not be happy if I ever do. That said, I am not expecting any of you to be particularly nice, or to necessarily like everyone you work with, but everything works better if you can at least decide on some mutual goals or points of interest. Connecting your characters together is a good idea too.
Cool?
Cool.
So without another delay, lets hear what you want to play, and how you think it can fit in with other characters.
